The Salon has just undergone a makeover and is looking swell. It is a lovely salon to bring those pampered pooches into and is kept very clean and tidy.

When we first set about opening the shop, being a mobile service previously, we identified that many people had a problem taking their dog to a salon as they weren't confident leaving a total stranger with their pride and joy. Therefore, at Braw Dogs their is a viewing window in the waiting area, so that you can watch your dog being groomed throughout the entire process.

The bathing facilities at Braw Dogs are well equipt, with a stair case which leads up into the bath for older or larger dogs which are not so easy to lift. The bath sits at waist height making it an easy and less stressful job for the staff.

The Staff at Braw Dogs consists of myself, Kirsty. I am age 25. I have been grooming now for quite some time and absolutely adore dogs. I have always had an interest in animals from a very young age and feel very priveleged to now be able to work in my own Salon and enjoy my job so very much.

Pet Sitting
This service is one for the owner who hates leaving their dog in a dingy dark kennel (like me). I certainly couldn't leave my Breagha all alone in a kennel.
Therefore I am opening my home in Lanark to those who prefer their dog being left in total comfort, and with someone who can provide attention and the odd cuddle when needed.
Your dog will come to work Tuesday through to Saturday, and be given regular toilet breaks and toys to play with.
The fee for the service is £20-25 per night/day depending on the size of breed. The owner provides food and bedding (to keep the dog's environment and diet as it would be in their own home).
I will walk your dog at least 3 times a day and provide extra playtimes. With one long walk a day (at least 30 mins to 1 hour). My long walks often consist of woodland trails and riverside paths ie. The Clyde Walkway or Lanark Loch.
Please understand that I can take dogs no bigger than a Standard Poodle and dogs must be of good nature and get along with other dogs. Also, they must be toilet trained and preferably neutered/dressed as I have my own dog living in the house.
Dogs taken are at my discretion.
Please call for further details and to discuss dates available.
Kirsty.
